Acquisitions and financial management specialists provide a full range of financial services, which relate to justifying and acquiring the resources needed to support the business of intelligence. These professionals include accountants, budget analysts, contract officers, financial managers, program managers and systems engineers.

As an acquisitions and financial management professional, you might formulate, present, defend and execute budget resources. You could be responsible for developing, defending and allocating manpower resources. You may even be providing policy guidance, or implementing policy on cost, finance and accounting activities. As a steward of taxpayer dollars, you will be the linchpin between the Intelligence Community and industry, acquiring goods, services, and systems that support the mission while maintaining the public’s trust and fulfilling public policy objectives.
